Appearance - Ashara has the youthful physical appearance inherent to most elves of all varieties. She has light purple skin, long wavy blue hair, and white pupilless eyes that had a slight glow to them. Ashara wears a gold-hued headdress that consists of six spikes arranged in a star-like fashion. Also, she sports a black choker, a tight tanktop that is a shade of purple slightly darker than her skin, ornate dark violet plate pauldrons with a long cape that extended down to her ankles attached, a purple skirt that went down to her knees with slits up to her waist that revealed the sides of both legs, and black boots with black stockings that went up to her mid-thigh.
Biography -
--History of Vie Vitalis>: The reign of Christanos Vex had prospered well.
Deep within the Mountains, dwelling within that large, earthen barrier and inside the vast underground caverns was the city of Vie Vitalis, a reclusive settlement and city-state of Dark Elves. And well withdrawn the Dark Elves were, for their greatest enemies lie not in the pitiful forces of the surface world, but in their own ranks and amongst themselves. It should come as no surprise than that the Dark Elven nation was constantly plagued with civil war. Often had one city split into two, three, perhaps even four at a time as ambitious leaders and greedy factions rose up in the struggle for power.
Every game, unfortunately, has a winner, however.
--The Triad>: Ashara Neifate was born into a period of great strife: The Triad Civil war. Three sides, quite obviously, opposed each other this time. House Argos, a largely male faction struggling for control in order to seize their male comrades quality living rights. House Slaythen, an insidious force of the most mentally insecure and bloodthirsty of the Dark Elven kind. And then House Vex, a female dominated side that held the numbers superiority and excellence of leadership advantage.
Ashara, quite wisely, threw in her lot with Vex while her sister, Sephnia Neifate, was abducted and taken into the sinister House Slaythen. In time, the powerful House Vex, led under the capable command of Christanos Vex, managed to crush both of their enemies, House Argos being the first to fall, singled out half for strategic reasons, half for prejudice. After the pathetic males had been destroyed and/or enslaved, the insane were the next target. House Slaythen put up a better fight than House Argos but could not stave off Vex's onslaught forever. In the final decisive battle, in which Ashara was present, Slaythen was defeated and the remnants of that House fled and scattered.
--The Empire>: With the two opposing forces ousted from the empire, House Vex took control and Christanos proclaimed herself Matriarch of Vie Vitalis. Her reign was one that could have potentially redefined the popular saying "To rule with an iron fist". However, those that served and supported House Vex during the Triad were rewarded handsomely, being given high social status and power. The Supporters effectively became the aristocracy of Vie Vitalis, the high class, the nobility, so on and so forth. Ashara, having indeed served Vex during the Triad and exhibiting superior Darkhand techniques, was given a place as a member of The Silencers. This shady group, which consists of many able assassins, spies, and the like, had the duty of "Political Enforcement". Basically, the objective of this was to track down potential dissenters to the Vex, mostly those recorded on the infamous blacklist Malin Mortus, and 'Silence' them, so as to keep the possibility of another Triad as low as possible. The biggest threat that the Silencers had to be wary of was the remnants of House Slaythen, many of which were still alledgedly at large.
Personality - Ashara is an extremely strong-willed woman and seldom backs down from a situation she sees as a challenge. She'll show devotion where it is needed in order to advance her own status or potentially put her in a position to 'take over'. Her utmost concern is always herself and will not even think of doing something out of altruism unless there is something in it for her benefit. Having assassinated many a would-be rebel as part of her work as a Silencer, she is often indifferent to death and killing or enjoys it outright. Also, quite like the vast majority of her Dark Elven sisters, she holds men in comtempt and views them as lower in every way to females. By the same token, she is more accepting of female company as opposed to that of males, inferior beings that they are. Not that it makes her any less suspicious or paranoid of any one, as any one could possibly be an enemy.
