They can be truly frightening, with their hysterical laughter and wild eyes, making them very similar to the psychotic clowns of peoples nightmares. They love to ambush their victims, chase them, generally scare them out of their wits, and sometimes even run them down if they get a good charge at them. Their biggest weakness is that they can be quite easily defeated, since they arent that physically powerful. Theyre fast movers, but if a person managed to catch hold of one or knock one off his wheels, then he would be pretty much powerless until released. Theyll always seem to remain unnervingly high-spirited through nearly everything though, and only seem to sober up when their freedom is threatened.
All this applies to Zazz, leader of the Wheelers, though he is of a higher level of intelligence than the rest of his race, and is generally more witty and cunning (by a Wheeler's standards), with an unstable, threatening air about him.
