Name: Ravin Shreckspawn

Age: Unknown for certain...500 years at the very least.

Gender: Male

Race: Draco Rex (basically meaning Dragon King; the largest and most intelligent species of dragon)

Desired Rank: King/Ruler/Lord

Location: The Mountains

Appearance: Ravin is a colossal dragon; humans and humanoid creatures are like mice compared to him. So mighty in every aspect that one can feel the power radiating from him as well as see it. His leathery wings are vast, as they would have to be in order to carry such a large animal through the air. His back, from his head to the tip of his arrow-pointed tail, is edged with vicious spikes. His skin is a thick hide of green scales that bear an illustrious coppery sheen. His eyes are an intense glowing red with narrow black triangular pupils. His huge jaws are filled with sharp silvery fangs, and on every toe is a hooked black talon. He is lithe like a cat but well-muscled; a perfect, gigantic predator. CLICK HERE FOR PICTURE

Abilities: Natural dragon attributes (claws, teeth, tail, fiery breath), though his sheer size and brute force is enough to take care of most foes if he doesn't out-talk them first...

Personality: Ravin is a vastly intelligent, cunning, and pensive creature who it would be unwise to underestimate. In the past, many warriors met their end at this dragon's claws, not always because Ravin was the stronger opponent, but simply because none of them expected the dragon to be so smart. Ravin has been around a very long time and so knows a great many things, and always gives the impression that anything he doesn't know about should not be known by anyone. This dragon is hard to amuse and very easy to irritate; he can have a very short temper at times and has no patience for peoples' stupidity, which is unfortunate because people can often be dumbstruck by his deadly countenance. He gives the overall impression of someone that you should definitely not mess with, argue with, or talk back to; whatever he says goes and whatever anyone else says is wrong until he decides otherwise. Such is the nature of this mighty animal; he has a natural air of authority over everyone and his own dragonly views on what is fair and what is not, and so far no one has dared to complain.
But the most the most distinguishable side to Ravin's personality has to be his passion for poetry. He is a surprisingly cultured dragon and an expert on verse of all kinds. His favourite source of entertainment, and the best way for people to keep his temper sweet, is to have his own personal bard to recite and discuss poetry with. But being the dragon's bard can often be a fatal career, since if Ravin should become bored with the bard's style, he has a tendency to eat the offending poet and then demand a new one. The dragon's speech reflects his hobby; his voice is deep and powerful, but carries a very poetic and knowledgeable air. He uses alot of Old English, and his sentances are often Latin in structure. Also, like most dragons, Ravin loves treasure and so has is own vast treasure hoard. He does not plunder kingdoms for additional wealth, but he will take something if he feels that only he should own it.
